What is a Domain Redirect?

cPanel Redirects are used to configure a web page to redirect to a different web page. The web server will automatically redirect a visitor from one web page to another web page, based upon the settings you made.

Redirects could be helpful in the following situations:

  • Replace Long URLs with shorter, easy-to-remember URLs.
  • Redirect visitors from old pages on a web site to newer, updated web pages

You can use cPanel to redirect multiple web pages at once, and also specify whether redirections are temporary or permanent.
